Andrew was installed as the Associate Pastor in August 2014 at Dardenne Presbyterian Church. The Congregation of Dardenne Presbyterian Church voted Sunday, October 21, 2018, to allow Rev. Dr. Andrew Kasberg to move from the position of Associate Pastor to Pastor of DPC and accepted the Terms of Call which were presented as part of the vote. He is the son of a Presbyterian minister and has lived throughout the country. While he considers Jacksonville, FL his hometown, he has also lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia, and most recently California. Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the University of Florida, his Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA, and received his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
Since his ordination in 2007, he has served as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Burbank in Burbank, CA where he preached, taught Bible studies, led the Student Ministry program, and engaged with local school and community leaders.
Andrew and his wife Caitlin were married in 2012 in Hollywood, CA. In addition to Andrew’s role at the church and Caitlin’s job in Los Angeles as a teacher, they served as the onsite Care Coordinators for an emancipated teen program in Burbank. Andrew loves college football (especially the Florida Gators), playing basketball, picking his guitar, and collecting antiques. Caitlin is passionate about discipling women and writing her blog.
In 2014 Andrew felt God’s leading to transition into a new season of ministry and he was called to be the Associate Pastor in at Dardenne Presbyterian Church. During his time at Dardenne Presbyterian Church, Andrew has been instrumental in relaunching a contemporary worship service, starting new small groups, and leading the Deacons to organize the shepherding ministry for congregational care. Caitlin and Andrew are also licensed foster parents.
In December 2017 Andrew and Caitlin welcomed their daughter Junia whose favorite day of the week is Sunday when she can travel up and down the hallways of the church and be greeted by her church family. Caitlin is also a graduate from seminary and serves as a Christian counselor in O’Fallon, MO.
