We are a Reformed and evangelical church, committed to the inerrancy of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16). Submitting to the authority of God’s Word means living day by day in obedience to Scripture.
We believe the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms form a concise summary of what the Bible teaches. [See www.reformed.org/documents/index.html.]
We believe people are saved from their sin only by God’s grace by believing in Jesus Christ, God’s Son.
We believe the Bible is the foundation of our lives, to be taught through Christian education to all followers of Christ, equipping them to become effective and efficient witnesses for Him to others.
We believe the church is the body of Christ alive in the world today.
We believe worship is praising God and living in obedience to God’s Word.
We believe through worship the Holy Spirit transforms human lives.
We believe family worship is essential for a strong church.
We believe marriage between a man and a woman is a covenant with God to all humankind.
We believe prayer is opening ourselves to God and that through prayer God communicates His will to us.
We believe we are God’s servants, presenting the Gospel in word and action daily so all people may become Jesus’ followers and that our mission field extends beyond the church’s walls to our community and throughout the world.
We believe all we have comes from God and we are responsible to give back to God our time, talent and increasing financial resources for God’s work in the world.
